Post [mod] [vulkan] Adreno 5xx series with S7 SD820 build.prop

Not sure I read all the post correctly, but there seem to be some indication that the drivers supplied in this thread may not be the best ones (most up to date?) to use. Perhaps that could be stated in the op?

Binary blobs? Hey, In anticipation of my newly ordered le max 2, I am trying to compile lineageos. Part of this endeavor is to run the extract-files.sh script which extracts the proprietary blobs into ~/android/lineage/device/leeco/x2 folder. Well, obviously I dont have those files just yet...

    Post [2019-12-13 v7.0.7 & Android 7.1] MEmu - Most Powerful Android Emulator

How come, each time I start an instance from MemuConsole, MEmu Multiple Instances Manager always maxes out one of my cores? This problem has persisted the last three MEmu upgrades at least. I solve it by manually shutting down that process, but it seems to me it should be fixed instead. No...

Just flashed the Air II files on an Air III device and it works great, even the camera is working. However, some games that worked on the original firmware are now not recognized with Mirek190 6.1, most notably Subway Surfers. What can be done about that? build.prop changes?

Post OmniRom 5.1 Builds for I9000 by Iyahman (08/08/2015)

Would you consider using opticharging? Its an image compression technique that generates smaller images, thus saving memory. IMO, badly needed for this device. Every bit counts. If its already used by omni, then please add that to op. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

These omniroms for the i9000, are they built with opticharging? Its a image compression technique that gives smaller apks, reduced memory usage etc... At the expense of reduced image quality. But I don't think it is noticeable anyway... Could we use some extra memory on this device with...

opti charging? Is opti charging done on this firmware? I think opti charging is the process in which the pngs in the firmware are shrunk and compressed even further than normal saving space and memory usage. If it is, is that clearly stated somehwere? If it isnt, why? Is this not a device...

In all honesty, if it was that simple it would already be done. Think of it as dismounting a car, let's say a Volvo. Then you take all the pieces and screw them back together. If you now have a BMW, then your work is done. Yes, it actually is that much work. Gotta love your enthusiasm though...

The CROSS_COMPILE directive should reference the compiler you have installed. Obviously, you don't have that compiler installed. I think mostly because Stratosk uses official Linaro toolchain, and you are using something else. Here is the proper download link to the Linaro toolchain...

Overclocking reduces life of CPUs. Period. By a significant amount, probably not. But please do not say it doesn't. That is just plain wrong. There is always risk with overclocking. Again, probably not by a significant amount. Also, not all phones/tablets are created alike. Some are better...

If you have felt the device to be cooler when under volting, then indeed you have seen better battery life. What energy isn't used to heat up your device is used to get CPU cycles out of it. Under volting has never helped me, not measurably anyway. Not with regards to heat or battery life. At...

Not true either. Think about it. Stock is made to fit most people pretty good. It's not made to offer best performance or best battery life. Just reasonably good everything. If you want best of performance or battery then use a custom kernel. Signature? Signature!
