:) I did read it, just thought there was something I was missing. I thought there was more to it than people having bad usb ports. You're saying if one does have a bad usb port and flashing gets interrupted, their phone would be bricked with the DG Odin, but with this Odin it would somehow be ok?

Just to add what the OP is saying, I am on Cognition 3.04 and I notice the browser is jerky when scrolling and just generally laggy when scrolling or re-sizing. I would say worse than stock in terms of the experience on the page, not talking about load times.

The location consent prompt has always been there since eclair and is part of how google collects data on locations and cell towers. Like you said, it pays to turn off unless you're using the maps or other location dependent app.

I can't answer most of your questions, but I will recommend getting Titanium Backup. You can at least backup your app data since you're so concerned about your Angry Birds score. I think you can probably restore that after flash.

Are you on the stock browser? Maybe try a different one. I only use stock so I'm not sure on recommendations, but I'm sure you can find threads on browsers if you go that route.

Although it would make sense, I don't think this is true. Certain Apps still update when background data is turned off. I still receive e-mails and facebook notifications and weather updates, etc. So I am not sure the answer to the OP's question.

Sorry I can't help. All I can think of is that the defaults change on flashing. Your resolution is probably set at 640*480. Try changing the resolution and other camera settings and see if that helps at all.

Question to the OP. What makes you think this camera is supposed to be and good? Are you comparing to a friend's pictures with the same camera? It is ok, but there is no flash so unless you have perfect lighting, maybe you have to lower your expectations.

Have you tried exporting your contacts to a vcard in the phone's settings? this would save a .vcf file to your phone's sd card, which you can then e-mail or send to your pc. contacts > menu > Import/Export > Export to SD card

In the stock e-mail app, I notice that e-mail signatures are limited to only one line. Even when I hit return and enter multiple lines in the Account settings, the signature comes out all on one line when composing a message. Is anyone else having this issue?

If you're that anxious to add Froyo, your best bet is to use a port of the Rogers release. I think the latest Cognition has it. Otherwise wait a little longer to see if ATT does release an update and someone will surely create a ROM that you can flash.
