Overnight it seems that now when I use a2dp in my truck it makes a snap and crackle pop sound from my tweeters. CD and my girlfriends iPhone work flawlessly so I know it isn't the speaker. Any ideas? I know this ROM has the good a2dp with the HQ audio and song info so I'm puzzled. It happens...

Having battery problems. Brightness turned way down and off auto. About an hour or two of Bluetooth and gps toggles on. General use of phone being texting and playing music. I feel like I should be getting some more life. Maybe I need a new battery. Had this one since the phone was released...

reviving this thread because I'm having a similar issue. It was all my own doing I know I know. I was flashing the rooted/cwm tar from the sgs3 toolkit and the phone would do this thing where it would show the first 2 boot screens then go black and keep the blue LED on which actually alternated...

I tried this and then I did a full wipe and tried again same force closes. Any another suggestions? Also maybe I should add it's just the Messaging app that's force closing.

Everything is perfect on 1.2 other than messaging. It force closes every time I open it. If this is user error I apologize. Great rom otherwise!

I wish the gapps dl would go faster than 20 kbps. Please for the love of samsung upload the gapps to a better server. There is no excuse for a 50 mb file taking over an hour to download on a 10+mbps internet connection. The ROM itself took only a minute or two. Please!!!

To this guy^ download odin(the full one not the tiny stock one) and download the speedmod kernel(google these). Use odin to flash the .tar kernel. You now have cwm recovery. Go into it and and install the zip(rom). Boom done ics. Good luck and sorry if i didnt explain it well enough. My...

Sorry for the noob question. I've flashed roms with clockworkmod hundreds of times, but can someone please give me a set of step by step instructions on how to install this properly? I'm not familiar with teamwinrecovery, but I do not see the kindle fire on the list of supported devices. thanks

If you have all the drivers installed and Odin still will not recognize your phone in download mode try and download Kies or Kies mini. I had the same problem and any missing driver came along with kies. I do not use the software, but It made my Odin work once again. Good luck.

As I said I do not know the details, but it was the first mention of a usable 4.0.1 for captivate by my knowledge. If you know a better alternative please feel free to enlighten me.

Apparently there is a GalnetMIUI ICS 4.0.1 out that does work for i-897, but I do not know the details. Possibly worth looking into I suppose.
