For those of you who can't access the internal sd card, try removing the efs backup script from "/system/ect/init.d" and reboot. Worked for me.

Either connect your phone to the pc while in recovery, go to mounts and storage and mount sd (or internal memory, no idea what the actual name is) and copy the rom to the internal sd card. Or use odin to start fresh again.

Remove battery wait 10s, put battery back and either use the jig or boot while holding home vol-down and power.

Try clearing market cache, download manager cache and download a app form the market. Usually they reappear after this.

Make sure the zip file is on the root of the "internal" sd card, also just keep the name the same as the downloaded file. You should find it somewhere at the bottom of the list. Also select with the menu button, not the power button. Power button is to go back.

Can't understand what they are saying but i'm pretty sure this is just a themed gingerbread rom. The lock screen in ICS is different and at 4:30 it clearly shows 2.3.7.

The vibration icon will show in the notification bar when vibrate is set to always (settings-sound-vibrate). If you change it to something else the icon disappears, not a real solution but you do get rid of the icon.

Download any official (based) rom and extract them yourself from the zip. Same location.

Did you always check with battery monitor widget pro? Cause there are some apps/widgets that use 1200mAh as default even if the real battery has a larger capacity.

Pretty sure that does not wipe the sd card, where the pictures and videos are stored. What happens when you connect it to a pc, can you access the sd card?

If you turn the phone off nothing will happen. The phone won't turn on. Just enable flight mode before you go to sleep and keep the phone on. You can also do this automatically with tasker or probably a ton of other apps on the market. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium

Gmail app only works with gmail and is actively developed by google. The mail app is a android stock email app customised by the manufactures. Beside the offline storage you can use them the same way but you could also pull the mail instead of pushing. Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

I think it syncs a specific time frame. If you want to view them off-line you can add gmail to the stock email app (either as Exchange or as imap).

Only apps in data and some system apps but/most Samsung stuff won't work.

A soft reset is just a reboot. That won't wipe anything. Just make a titanium backup and do a factory reset.
