My update went smoothly without any problems. My note 4 is now the phone it always should have been. No more multitasking lag even after opening up 20 apps and using one app for a half hour before pressing the task switcher "button". I'm no longer dissatisfied with my phone.

You really don't have to wipe though. It almost always works fine without wiping. I've never had a problem. I do backup, however, so that in the event that it doesn't work I can wipe. I don't see any need to wipe preemptively though.

You don't have to wipe. Just backup in case something goes wrong, but I've never had that happen. Just flash the new one right over the old one.

These are not stock at&t roms The first rom is an international rom. The second is a rooted rom. This needs to be fixed (or at the very least, deleted entirely) ASAP.

I've tried it. It doesn't help me. It makes the screen more sensitive to the point where it registers clicks when my finger hovers a half inch off of the screen. It also makes it more prone to fantom touches.

What are the steps for updating? Do I need to factory reset in clockwork or can I just flash right over version 1? Will I retain app data and settings or will I need to use titanium backup and set up phone settings manually again?

If they are using ttl to detect tethering, then mobile ap would be effected. I'm not sure if usb tethering does deincrement ttl. All the reports seem to be mentioning WiFi tethering.

I was very specific in my criticism of nookie froyo on sd. That's not wildly complaining. Even if it is better on eMMC, that doesn't negate my criticism of installing it on sd.

How do you access clockwork recovery on the nook? Does the 3 button combo work? Is it different if you are running a rom off of the sd than if it's run directly off of the nook?

How do you access that new recovery? Does holding the volume buttons down at boot work?

I hope they get those worked out. Wifi problems and youtube support are big deal breakers for me. Have you tried nookie froyo? Did you have any of the app data problems I'm having?
