Okay, night 2 of running this rom I experienced a true "charge death", as I woke up late due to it :p. Thank god for the snow storm ;). Great rom/kernel though aside from this though. Many thanks!

I have only had it (serendipity 2.0 with the loaded steam kernel) loaded for ~22hrs. And I have not had a charge death, in regards to a unwanted shutdown, but my charge death is different... it only seems that when I charge it while I'm sleeping I always wake up with no service (data/cellular).

I am actually getting similar symptoms to what you've stated.. I was actually on perception 99 and was experiencing this, then installed this hoping it would fix this issue... but I got it again this morning...

I would highly doubt it. I'm sure he'll have to sign a lengthy NDA, and never sign on here again. And since he's known to do so much work here, I'm sure they'll keep a close eye on him during his first few months. Assuming google wants to take advantage of his talent of course :)
