If you're already on SlimBean, You don't need to do a full wipe as indicates the instructions :) and if you are on 2.7 or above, don't need to flash addons neither. http://slimroms.net/index.php/installation

Not using CM but SlimBean3.0 and by experience if you don't need it, you should freeze Maps and defrost it whenever you want to use it... that's How I manage to keep my autorun-by-itself-apps off, I use to freeze apps like Facebook, DSPManager (IMHO doesn't need it if you're not listen music)...
