Are you currently using Firefox/ Chrome/ or IE/ Safari? I've tried others and nothing seems to work. Apparently its tied to peoples profiles (Zelendel). But whatever....its just my warning to let everyone know that they may see a Cluster-F%#$ of posts by me since its not working.

There is a way to Root Froyo (stock) phones. Just search through...its ALL OVER here. Heck, even Youtube has good tips...lol. As far as AIO, it gives you the option to root to Stock Eclair (JF6) as well, so your not really limited to JUST the Froyo that came with your phone. Then that way you...

I doubt this has anything to do with root. "re-install packages" takes place while you are in recovery mode (2e or CWM or 3e). This is the message you get when you have a zip file that is either un-recognized by CWM or the actual file he is trying to "install" isn't renamed to "update.zip" or...

I personally prefer to run a FULL flash, unless of course the changelog from the prev Roms is minimal. Plus the Kernel would be a factor as well. Some have had best luck with Onix, and most have not. The new one is included in the full 2.9 (wipe) package that i hear was built for stability...

There's always Heimdall (not sure if i spelled that right) for you to use with your Mac. The whole reason it was created was because it can be used on multiple platforms. Just do a quick search on it here. Let me know if you get stuck, i believe i have it saved somewhere here....
