Understood, I wont mess with them. I really just want to understand a couple things. 1. Why did the ROM I installed before work for everyone else except me? and i followed the instructions. and 2. after flashing to stock, how am I unable to fix this? mainly to just learn what went wrong.

No, the IMEI is blank when i do the *#06# code.... also, when i put the simple mobile sim in the phone, it automatically came up asking for the network unlock code. That's how i was able to unlock it.

It normally happens on the second boot. Copy the system.sqsh and Data.img into the android folder (it would only happen after the initial boot of android) after that it should be fine.
