I got this message too. It usually means you're running an after market launcher (ADW, LauncherPro). If you are, revert back to TW and the message should go away.

Well, deleting Kies (and associated drivers) didn't help! :( After deleting Kies, I tried both the ODIN referenced drivers, as well as those from the Samsung site. Still not working! I guess I'll wait on a new cable and see if that helps...
