I'm trying to get ICS on my Huawei u8680 but my external SD card doesn't mount. I've tried using cement to partition the card with no luck. I believe I have tried formatting it with an adapter on my laptop at some point months ago and had no luck with that either. What are my options...

Sorry took so long to reply dont really have internet where I live. Windows 7 and XP both Yes downloaded the correct Samsung drivers....have ADB installed Not using original cable but it works to charge through the PC so why would it not be recognized as a device?

I have tried different computers, 3 to be exact and once I take out the jig then plug in the cable the pc wont recognize it is even there and so then i cant get Odin working...any suggestions? im reinstalling the samsung captivate drivers soon downloading those now

I finally was able to get the external sd card to be recognized by the phone....now I just cant get my micro sd adapter working so that I can get a new ROM put on there.... Any suggestions on that? LOL Tried taping up the lock slider and have had it taped in both unlocked and locked positions...

I just tried what you suggested and it doesn't work either....I think I really got it messed up...but I still think it can be fixed. After doing what you said CWM says Error: mounting /data I'm pretty sure my entire file system has been wiped clean.

Well I have no cell phone service...I really just use wifi and an app called text plus...so just looking for something with a good wifi signal and good battery life....I don't need a ton of bells and whistles...although I do like a good selection of ring tones and lock screens

What is everyone getting the best battery life with right now? Need something stable and something that gets a good wifi signal

Redownloaded the package and installed again and still getting FC's...now I realize I'm not using the right version of ROM Manager...but I'm downloading the one from the marketplace and it has the green text....where do I get the one I need?

I can't seem to get the pulldown menu to show debugging mode or be able to mount the phone so I can see the sd cards as drives within windows. I installed the samsung usb drivers and rebooted the computer and still nothing...the phone shows debugging mode when I charge it in the car but not on...

cwm finally is working except now after the packages install I choose reboot recovery and when I get back into cwm the advanced ULK option doesn't show up

I don't know...kinda pissing me off now. I just uninstalled twice and the second time even deleted the clockwork folder off the phone and it's doing the same thing.
