I had a similar issue with my Samsung s7. Randomly crashed, went into reboot loops, got very hot. I tried flashing via Odin and Smart Switch but at the end it was a hardware fault which Samsung repaired at their repair center.

Yeah, I'm on BTU too and they don't update it often. It should be monthly like the way Vodafone are doing it.

The issue is back for me. I've still got the Gear VR apps disabled and removed Daily Mail and the phone is rebooting randomly. Is there anything else I can try ? - it was working fine before this all started.

Thanks. I'll remove the Daily Mail app if the issue is to occur again and test without it.

I've installed Package Disabler Pro and disabled everything with "Gear". Nothing showed up with "Oculus". I hope that's fixed it for me now.

Do I just download Sideload VR via the play store and them run it?

I don't know what I'm looking to update? No updates are available in either Google or Galaxy play store and I can't seem to find the VR App.

I don't use GearVR headset or SideloadVR and I still can't seem to find com.oculus.rooms I can't seem to find an app that would freeze GearVR / Oculus stuff without root. I can see however that Gear VR Service has used 22% battery since last charge which doesn't seem normal.

I can't see Oculus Rooms in System Apps and I just installed disable service from the play store. I don't see it there either. I do see Gear VR services and I've attached a picture.

I assume you mean the Gear VR services. For some reason I not able to uninstall them via the Application Manager?

Well, I could do that but I use the app daily, it's been working fine for weeks. It can either be something has become faulty within my S7 or an app update on Daily Mail has made it happen. I've removed the Daily Mail app, deleted the cache and storage of it and re-installed it to no avail.

I did pause the step counter and even rebooted and made sure it was paused but the option remained blanked out.

ROM is working well. I've done a clean install. I've just got 2 issues: When download apps from Play Store, I get errors 963, 906 and 907 while downloading some apps. The only way to solve this for me was to unmount the SD card. On the lockscreen, there is no weather and S health icons.

It's more to do with videos that play through apps such as the Youtube, BBC News videos (through the app) etc which lag so I don't see how a different player would help?

Hi, At the moment I am running the stock ROM of the s4. i9505. I am NOT currently rooted and the baseband version is I9505XXUHOJ2 - this is the latest version for BTU. A reboot does fix the issue for a few hours but it can get irratating - I've tried a factory reset and another flash in Odin...

I'm also having this issue... anyone aware of a fix?

The s6 doesn't have the 2 finger scroll down. Don't think that's an issue.
