Every Rom will get slower after you install a bunch of apps and use it over time unstable or stable doesn't matter. I don't understand your logic.

Hello Guys, I updated from FreedomOS 1.7(OOS 3.2.8) to Beta8 via TWRP. If I start my phone the usual warning pops up with orange writing. I can access recovery from here, everything works fine. After that another warning with red writing pops up. If I choose recovery here the phone reboots...

I had F2FS before and switched back to EXT4 just for compatibility reasons. The difference is not noticeable for me...

Simply use TWRP. What's the hassle?! I can "revert" to anything I want. Just another bull**** thread... When they say downgrade they mean that you can keep your data. You can simply wipe your whole phone and flash anything you want! What's wrong with you?!

I can not say much about beta 8 battery life yet, but still I got better battery on CM 13 than CM 14.1. Those things suck in 14.1 1. Not all quick toggles, like nfc, are available 2. Bluetooth sucks, makes dialer or whole UI crashing 3. GPS sucks Hardcore, disables network sometimes, fix...

I don't really need root and I didn't find any issue yet. Got an instant GPS fix other than CM which takes like one minute. I'll test Bluetooth tomorrow. Battery life isn't that great but wasn't great on CM 14.1, too. Actually had the best battery life with CM 13...

I encourage everybody who struggles with CM 14 everybody to install OpenBeta 8. It's way more stable than CM 14.1. I use CM for years now but seriously CM 14.1 is not usable. Just too many bugs!

I succesfully updated over FreedomOS 1.7(OOS 3.2.8) BUT I had to remove the first line of the updater.script because the installer prompted me that I don't have a "OnePlus3" instead a "" :D Don't know if it's only an issue with my device or an issue with FreedomOS...

Is upgrade from 3.2.8 possible?

I didn't remove my pattern/fingerprint and had to delete the key files. Now I can't set a new one. Any suggestions?

Well I did that, after that my pattern didn't work anymore after booting. I deleted the key files in /data/system and if I now want to set a pattern or fingerprint the settings just close down :rolleyes:

I'm facing the same issues since September. GPS is crap and takes about one minute to get a fix. Bluetooth is buggy and makes the Dialer crashing, sometimes the whole UI is broken after connecting to Bluetooth. Last but not least I had apps like Spotify randomly stopping and then a few minutes...

I can confirm that. GPS is almost useless. I also have issues with national roaming or roaming in general and can not make any data connections at all. That's so annoying. Didn't they just take the apns and stuff from CM13? I've never seen roaming in my own network with CM before...

I posted an issue this morning with playing back recorded videos. Just want to report back that this was caused bei EX Kernel. Do not use EX Kernel on 14.1. It might improve performance but it makes your system unstable.

If I play a recorded video Google Video Player the phone reboots. Any fix for that? 25th nightly data is ext4 dianlujitao EDIT: Happens with other players too, kinda sucks...

Does anyone else have Sky high wakelocks of Cynaogenmod-System? In 12hrs runtime it kept the phone active for 8hrs. I wanted to investigate that but it seems that apps like Better Battery Stats and Wakelock Detector do not work properly on Nougat, yet. Any suggestions?

As far as I can remember Oxygen OS had this feature already built in.

I hoped it would be Nougat... OnePlus promised we get it in November but still no signs of Nougat at all.

Finally got it. You were right but it only worked after I formatted again. OOS sometimes shows that the phone is encrypted when it's actually not...

I can't encrypt my phone anymore. I formatted userdata and installed FreedomOS. Somehow it did not encrypt by default. I wanted to enrypt it again after installation and the process ran for over 12 hrs constantly on the boot screen until I interrupted it. Anyone got an idea how get this...

Simply reflash the rom.

I tried stock, snap and oos cam on CM 14 and they were all bad especially on low light. :(

I never said that CM13 is bad but CM14 is not usable for me in this state. I love Cynaogenmod but I'm a bit disappointed that there are still major bugs that exist since begin of development. CM is still the core of like 90% of all custom Rom development... I'm also disappointed from cynaogen...

Hm I was satisfied with CM 13. Preferred it over OOS. I'm going to give aicp a shot now... First impression is better than CM 14. CM 14 doesn't even have all quick toggles available... But charging still exists, so annoying if I can't tell if my phone is charged or not, wtf...

I shouldn't have pulled the trigger so early on Cm14 but sorry I can not consider that daily driver ready. Issues over issues... :( Now installing everything begins again... Don't know if I should go back to CM 13 again or Freedom OS which was also kinda OK.
