Anyone else not a fan of the new folders? Can I flash the previous OB launcher directly in TWRP? Or is it replace and update permissions?

You may try adding more fingerprints to slow down the matching as it searches more. Slows down some phones. Not sure about the OP3. I have 4 setup and mine is still quick. Try to Max out the number of fingers.

Personally, I find the message useful to easily choose another boot option and would rather keep it.

Stock with AKT Zhana battery profile. I usually hit between 6-8 hours SOT, with about 7h15m average.

QC works by using higher voltages - QC 3.0 goes up to 20V but uses lower amperage. Dash keeps the voltage at 5V but uses 4 amps to get charging speeds up. Unfortunately they are different technologies because I would love more charger options.

Just long press and remove the search bar. You will not get dash charge on a S8 charger, just the slow speeds.

The only way I could completely remove SuperSU was to dirty flash OOS. Otherwise safety net still detected SuperSU. Rooted with magisk and used magisk hide. Can now play Mario run and used Android pay.

The wifi antenna or chip in the OP3 is awful. I can get maybe 30Mbps on it with a fiber connection. My old Note 4 has hit a Max of 560Mbps sitting right next to the OP3. Both on 5GHz. Note 4 is MIMO, OP3 is a single channel and not very good.

$15 in shipping for a vinyl film is a bit steep

Just run a bare screen. Screen protectors ruin the experience. I'd rather have a few light scratches after a year than dislike the feel of the screen every day I use it.

Use TWRP 3.0.4-1. 3.0.2 can't decrypt internal storage, at least not on mine it couldn't. Also if you have f2fs file system, TWRP takes a loooooong time to boot. Just wait, even though it seems hung. Takes several minutes. If you have ext4, it's quick. Use the app 'Diskinfo' to check

You can't.

Shift right click in the folder where the file is and open the command prompt from there. That way you don't need to mess with the path.

Went back to ext4. Had some random lags in apps on f2fs when reading data. Went back to ext4 and all's well.

Do you add anything to the phone or is there enough ferrous material in the phone for it to grab it?

May be another app with an alarm set. For example, I use alarmdroid and it triggers the alarm icon.

Otas will always fail with TWRP. Wipe system and reflash full rom. If that doesn't work, clean flash ( wipe data, system, dalvik, and cache) then flash system and restore data. Also use TWRP 3.0.4-1.

I suspect it's not a bug, but rather a feature to prevent running up charges on roaming data, which is often limited and expensive compared to regular data plans or wifi.

It's a small metric (likely) or UN screw. Take the other out and measure it for length, diameter, and thread. You should be able to buy more at any hobby or do it yourself store (like Radio Shack). You can just compare them in store as well to find the one that matches. Matching thread count...

I charge to 100% Everytime and kill it frequently. Don't have time or care to watch it that closely. Besides you aren't truly fully charging or discharging. The IC prevents both for you.

Just go naked. Haven't had a screen protector on any device since my droid x ages ago. Same with OP3. No issues.

I just use a regular speed car charger as I usually only car charge when I'm streaming and running Google maps for several hours. It keeps it topped up. May buy a car dash charger if the price drops and it's available.

Have a laptop but don't use it. Also travel several times a month. Watch Netflix on the phone when traveling. Unlimited LTE on T-Mobile.

I use zhana battery. Pretty consistent 6 hours sot with an additional hour or so streaming music with the screen off. I use only LTE (usually over 30GB per month). I'm still on OB7 btw.

Just. A heads up too. In Gboard settings, preferences, you can set it to have a number row at all times.

Also have to turn off night mode to access the screen calibration.

What I did (with an unlocked bootloader): Titanium backup all apps and call logs/texts/wifi via XML. Reformat data to ext4 via TWRP. Flash TWRP 3.0.4-1 as image. Flash ob7 within TWRP. Reflashed TWRP (why not?) Booted and factory reset. Flash SuperSU. Restored user apps and texts calls etc via...

You will need to flash manually. OTAs only work on stock recovery and generally only with an unmodified system partition.
