yeah... i've done that already... however the amplification is only marginal, especially when compared to what DolbyAtmos has on Nougat on my S8+ looks like there is no answer for this one :confused::rolleyes:

i am 60% deaf... so custom ROM's that allowed sound mods / audio + music enhancing kits like Ainur Sauraon, Viper & DolbyAtmos available for my S8+ were actually a boon... is there anything out there for S10+? any help on this from folks here, who have actually tested this will be a big + thanks...

good lord have mercy! i did that exact very thing in minutes after i got mine... such a relief that it hasn't scr00ed up something serious!!! :silly::rolleyes:

all banking apps all mobile wallet apps all apps starting/ending with *pay* ...and to be on the safe side, once u mark an app in magiskhide, restart the handset once... normal & nfc payments work for me on my s8+ - shud work for u as well IMO

magisk + safetyNet pass + magiskHide = GPay + All other banking apps work perfectly! [except the SamsungPay - which it wont anyway if u have rooted the device] Google Assistant works far better than what Bixby does IMO

pls join this rom's telegram channel - a latest release is being tested & it is effing awesome! :) the developer will soon share it here once it is stable & some rough ends are smoothed out. good luck!

tried the V4A + Oreo however the audio output is nowhere even close to what it is on AryaMods DolbyAtmos on Nougat. so did a roll back and am waiting n watching n waiting :)

am from bombay, india. downloaded & installed the apk. somehow doesn't allow me to login via facebook. i have logged out of the facebook app already - didnt work. then i uninstalled the facebook app from my handset - allowed me to login using facebook credentials & then again showed me a screen...

saw badly scarred glass screens of a couple of friends s8+'s... shat bricks on seeing that... have put a tempered glass screen protector over mine... not the best thing to do, i know... the curved edges make it practically impossible for the glass to remain stuck in pace... but anything better...

flashed this rom - everything seems to be working - will check how good the SoT is w.r.t. H2OS [my daily driver] just 1 query - i prefer the barebones plain vanilla android UI - any way by which i can get rid of that preinstalled Nova Launcher?

install the rom as published in this thread earlier. download a.r.i.s.e. from the thread on this forum. flash only the viperatmos zip. sorted.

either turn off DolbyAtmos or turn off all Viper settings - keeping both ON results in them stutters

enable VoLTE setting in SIM / Data Networks. I have Jio too & it shows VoLTE allright on OnePlus3 on H2OS 11.Aug Stable release

why all this hassle... the latest beta h2os screws up the current twrp so all u need to do is, flash the latest version of twrp again & restore ur nandroid backup simply put, wont take more than 10 mins for ur handset to be back what it was

u can always download the latest h2os from hOOp://www.h2os.com/download follow the same process as mentioned on post #1 works spot-on - all the time the critical bit while u install the rom via recovery is *NOT* to do a full wipe but use only the default TWRP factory reset / restore. its doing...

phone settings > sound > media volume - adjust u can also use 3rd party apps like audio manager to control the audio camera quality - umm - didnt pay special attention - however seems to be the same as what it was on OOS

intentionally kept that way - hotlinking of external URL's avoidable ;) H2OS is exact idential to iOS in many ways it is far smoother & stable than OOS dunno about the video playback time - never played that much of video on phone however SoT for H2OS almost always far excels that of the OOS.

yeah... everything works right out-of-the-box. wiping dalvik / cache / system / data clean install reboot happiness ;)
