Just wanted to post a big, nice, fat THANK YOU. I bricked my OP3 and spent hours and hours and hours trying to fix it. After working through the second method you posted, it fixed my bad cache and system partitions and allowed me to fix my phone. Really, thank you. This was a total lifesaver!

3.0.2.1-26 fixed it! First, thanks again for the quick response! I updated to 3.0.2.1-26 and successfully booted into recovery (no more black screen) BUT-- now I can't boot to system for some reason! I did a wipe and flashed the official 13.0 nightly and the 14.1 nightly, both of which flashed...

I did that using Nano and I still had a problem; but anyways I re-flashed with Pico and all is well!

I'm having the same problem despite setting permissions. Just out of curiosity, did the others that are having this problem use the Pico Gapps? I used the Nano, maybe what is causing the problem.

since i was having trouble with the utilities, plus most dont seem to work on 4.2.2 yet, i just rooted manually via adb flashing recovery image. worked just fine, just a little bit more technical. if youve got the SDK set up already it shouldnt be a big deal.

well while we patiently await v0.2, is there anyone who has figured out how to successfully flash v0.1? i tried in CWM and TWRP but keep getting an error (7) while flashing.for some reason i didnt seem to have the option to skip flashing the recovery... any ideas fellas?

that was my first thought but i wasnt able to locate the option to do so in the version of CWM i was using- honestly i dont recall which it was. now that im on a fresh system though, i think ill switch to TWRP. i use it on my one X and like it just fine.
