Seems right, And you need to start with recovery if you do not have the proper one.

I flashed last 3.7 ROM a few hours ago, with correct firmware and recovery, as explained in first post. So far so good, very smooth, and it seems fingerprint problem is gone.

Guyz, the home button / FP sensor bug is not happening super often. I think some can mix with another setting for the 'long press' home button action. Make sure to define it in the setting. I prefer put to 'do nothing' to get rid of any delay. Cheers

If you mean changing the grid you can try: Long press on home screen> setting > grid size
