Post Moving to the Note 10?

I would have waited for another iteration because of that punch-hole. But without a headphone jack, the whole series might as well be dead to me.

    Post [ETG3] OFFICIAL STOCK FW-update (Odin) thread (16 Jul 20) GALAXY Note9 SM-N960F/DS

Yes, video didn't support it, but you could still have the feature active for photos. Now photos don't use tracking auto focus if I have video set at 1080p/60fps. When I say photos I mean the photo mode, not video mode with snapshots shortcut or whatever.

    Post [ETG3] OFFICIAL STOCK FW-update (Odin) thread (16 Jul 20) GALAXY Note9 SM-N960F/DS

Anyone notice the tracking auto focus is now disabled if you have video settings for 1080p/60? Even for the photo mode. It was definitely there before the update for these settings, I think only video modes like 4k60fps didn't support it or whatever. Please find a way to get it back :( I already...

Post Xiaomi 10W wireless charger - can't get fast charging to work

Well I'm not familiar with all the details behind wireless charging so I cannot really tell, but thanks to both of you, I think the issue is now resolved on my end. I'll either just buy the blitzwolf adapter or try with another QC3.0 adapter.

Post Xiaomi 10W wireless charger - can't get fast charging to work

No, sadly the only one I have is a OnePlus dash charger and this one only uses 5V (you need 9V for fast charge from what I know), so it's just charging at 5W. But yeah I'd really appreciate you trying it out, since what I need right now is just any adapter that might work.

Thread Xiaomi 10W wireless charger - can't get fast charging to work

Hey people, Anyone got this charger(picture below) and managed to get fast wireless charging working? I've tried it with the original Samsung power adapter+cable and it didn't work, it's just charging at 5W. There's a video on youtube where you can see a previous note model using fast charging...

Post anyone experience popping noise when pressing note 9 screen?

So I got a replacement, and just as you said, the display had the same popping sound out of the box. It happens like once a day, but since there is really no substitute for this device right now (stylus + good DAC, besides all the other great features), I'll keep using it and if it gets worse...

Post anyone experience popping noise when pressing note 9 screen?

Cool, thanks for the info. It's too dark in the winter days so it's hard to say if the glass is a bit off on the corners, but nevertheless, I will write back when I (hopefully) get a replacement one. One last thing - you did speak directly with Samsung support? Did you buy it from their store...

Post anyone experience popping noise when pressing note 9 screen?

After studying the noise a bit more, it is definitely an issue with the glue. It will not happen all the time I press the screen, but it happens more often when the phone is a bit warm to the touch (e.g. charging the battery). Also, it appears to be along the side where the battery resides - I...

Post anyone experience popping noise when pressing note 9 screen?

Hey thanks for sharing that. This is the first link I got searching for this, I have it happen to mine note 9 too. It's such a bummer since I had it for only three days and will have to setup a new one from scratch if they have to replace it.

When you guys come up with a complete stable version just send me a pm and I'll update the main post. Sorry, am a bit busy right now and didn't really read through on the whole idea, but would like to have a nice tutorial for it when it comes to posting it on the front page.

Post Audio Quality? (3.5mm Jack Output)

I only shared how it is compared to the OP3 - now, you can surely software mod it, bit if the HW is limited, there's little you can do there - but to each their own. I value headphone output/quality too much so I'll just grab the next LG V40 when it comes out and don't bother with any...

Post Audio Quality? (3.5mm Jack Output)

I got to test the audio jack comparing to my OP3, using Sennheiser IE-8 IEMs. Now, you could probably get different results with other headphones, but these are very easy to drive, and the audio output was just so low compared to the OP3. I kind of also agree to the post above saying the...

Post [GUIDE] Stop Google Play Services Wakelocks (AppMeasurement, net_scheduler, etc.)

What I did was disable and test if everything still works fine (usually 2-3 days). So you can try it this way, sadly I don't know more than that, and it's been a long time since I last did anything with it. Basically I've had the same build since I posted this thread and haven't touched it...

Post [GUIDE] Stop Google Play Services Wakelocks (AppMeasurement, net_scheduler, etc.)

I don't have the time right now, but I think there's a chance they just added some new services for net_scheduler. What did help for me was just going through the different panels, e.g. system, receivers etc. and search for services that are named similar to the core services we already...

Post [GUIDE] Stop Google Play Services Wakelocks (AppMeasurement, net_scheduler, etc.)

Haven't had any problems with updates until now, just fyi. Disabling the "global" settings in the guide should be enough and you shouldn't go through each app separately afterwards. Maybe the reason why you got problems was something in the implementation of KitKat, as it is more than one OS...

Post [GUIDE] Stop Google Play Services Wakelocks (AppMeasurement, net_scheduler, etc.)

A lot of people skip this second step and stay under the section "services". 1. Open the app 2. Click on the top left to open the panel, click on Broadcast Receiver. Afterwards you should be able to find the mentioned receivers. As far as your clock problem goes, I don't have any problems...

Post [GUIDE] Stop Google Play Services Wakelocks (AppMeasurement, net_scheduler, etc.)

This thread was about disabling services you mostly don't need...like companies requesting your personal in-app interaction data everytime they feel like it. It was written to help people who experience drain/annoyance because of that fact. Please read the red text in the original post.
