To anyone having issues flashing GApps due to lack of space and afraid to mess with the partition sizes (as you should be) use Magisk Module Magic Gapps to flash them systemlessly.

With all due respect, no one should flash GSI roms. No matter how cool it is, they are unoptimized and don't receive any updates. I was on a GSI rom for the longest time and never once was it updated. Which means you'll be behind on security patches, which unfortunately, is rather important...
