It's interesting that you actually get a message toast saying that zoom doesn't work for this mode - it's curious to presume that must be coded somewhere for some reason. Unless it doesn't work on the V10 either..

After a reboot, Beautify is working in both apps now. The V10 app will not zoom using the front camera though. Again, nothing I particularly care about. H-815 - V20D

Makes no difference for me either, but I have found that the Beautify slider no longer works in the original default camera app now too.

No need to over complicate matters, friend. There's room here for edited and un-edited. While I agree once a picture has been edited beyond all recognition (i.e over-cooked HDR) it could well be from any device, it's not doing any harm. The beauty is in the detail. :)

I use Magic Focus quite a bit (more to alleviate my boredom if I'm honest) - it seems to work very well without the need for perfect stability. Personally, I'd miss it. Beauty shot, dual camera, shot and clear - they'd be first against the wall for me.

Maybe not in a conventional browser. But I'm not using one, I'm using Tapatalk like thousands of others, and, as I say, Tapatalk supports emoji and XDA supports Tapatalk. Get it? I suggest if you have an issue, you go to the forum admins and tell them because you don't like seeing emoji...

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see this app focusing on touch during video recording. I see the square appear and turn green but the G2 continues to autofocus and the manual touch has no effect (other than to bring up a square which turns green..).
