I dont know if it will work. Did you try to switch the partitions from A to B or B to A? There are tutorials on how to do that via adb. I cant tell you exactly how to do it, i did it also from tutorials.

Hi, no, i do not have apps from other sources. all are downloaded from the play store. I did consider this but dont like it. I'll prepare myself mentally for a hard reset :eek: i hate this part because of the backup and data loss and evrything. Thanks.

and for those who dont have 'Swipe up on home button active? i never used that option and still have this random unresponsiveness of the screen. Tried it for half an hour in safe mode and it was fine. But then again, i uninstalled an app and it was fine for a day or so and then it started again.

I also suspect some issue with an app that uses overlay. Sometimes the screen recovers by itself after it does something like a refresh. Do you know by any chance how to reboot into safe mode? Would be interesting to see if it still freezes.

Now i also use the BroTect mentioned in some posts above. It is really thin and flexible and GLASS. But i have doubts it will do a decent job if i might drop my phone. Before this one i had the standard 0.33mm thick one and dropped the phone once and also stepped on it. Really unlucky...

as far as i know, you can buy only the PCB with the port on it for around 4€. that PCB connects with a ribbon cable to the rest. Or if you have the equipment, there is also just the USB C pot which must be soldered in the PCB.

i dont have sim card problems but since the Pie update im facing random call drops. Some days it forks fine and on others i cant finis a conversation without my call abruptly ending and having to initiate again. Doesnt matter if i call or im being called.
