Thread Quick Circle: How to remove "Settings, Music, Download More"

So, I've been using the quick circle case. I like it, but I have to scroll through those bs apps to get to what i need. I'll never use them (I don't use stock music player, and settings and download more open up inside the phone, stop no point), but I can't deselect them from the circle apps. My...

Post [Q] Samsung Clear View case scratched my screen

This is sad. Does nobody take these things and put them in their pockets for a week or two before releasing them to the public? And this is a case directly FROM Samsung? Pathetic! Sorry for your troubles, hope you get properly reimbursed. I've sworn off Samsung phones a while ago, and can't...

    Post [Nook HD/HD+] EMMC CM11 install - updated 11/29

Sorry if this has been asked before. Is it possible to remove the SD after everything is all said and done? Or is it essential to keep it in? I sadly don't have any spare cards at the moment, but would love to get rid of the NookOS. Thanks!

Post [ROM] Dandroid 5.2 [4.3 TW] [AOSP KK 4.4 Theme] 02/20/14

Is that the. AT&T version of the GS3? If so, I think there's a separate (but same) Dandroid ROM.

Post -[ROM]- Dandroid 5.4 [4.3 TW] [CyanogenWiz] 12/24/2013 Stable release

Not really, but sort of. Just do the normal "Apps+Data" restore, and just select only your apps. There's nothing to restore just use apps built-in. If that's what you did, then the transition from KK to JB must have broken it. Also, might I recommend upgrading to the "donation" version of...

Post [ROM] Dandroid 5.2 [4.3 TW] [AOSP KK 4.4 Theme] 02/20/14

Do you mean your battery life isn't what you'd expect? Two/three things that have helped me get awesome battery life: 1) In some CPU controller, set your Maximum Frequency to around 1200-1300 (depending on your Kernel, I'm personally using DKP) 2) Get a task manager to kill unnecessary apps...

Post -[ROM]- Dandroid 5.4 [4.3 TW] [CyanogenWiz] 12/24/2013 Stable release

He says that can help, in general, in the second post (I think). Which I did simply because I hadn't in a hell of a long time(or ever). But I did realize that some of my tones were, in fact blank. So, no fault of your own there. I also realized, the tones are fewer than most ROMs, which I...

Post -[ROM]- Dandroid 5.4 [4.3 TW] [CyanogenWiz] 12/24/2013 Stable release

Did you do a full wipe and Back to Odin? If not, that's probably what caused your ringtone issue. I know that doing a dirty install will cause some leftover settings and other crud to be left behind (If I didn't I would have three different stock clock apps by now.) As for apps auto-installing...

Post [V6U9RC13]For Your Lag(4x) Do it good, Good, GOOD, GOOD! SuperCharge Your Launchaaah!

The starter kit was installed successfully. I might just switch her ROM to something close to mine if there's nothing else apparently wrong.

Post [V6U9RC13]For Your Lag(4x) Do it good, Good, GOOD, GOOD! SuperCharge Your Launchaaah!

Love this tweak! Now that I got this working at 100%, my Galaxy S3 (StockMOD Custom 4.3) is like never before! I used to have gapps crashing, along with horrible lag! Now with V6, my phone is snappy, no more crashing, and the battery lasts longer than ever (if the screen is off, it can last for...

Post [How To] Get 100% Supercharged Using V6 Supercharger

Thanks for the thread. I was stuck at 50% for the longest time. After seeing your thread, I unSupered my device, and followed your steps and was 100% in less than 10 minutes. The trick was doing the Ultimatic Jar Patch BEFORE running the V6 script. Thanks for the help!

Post What is your GS3 Running?

True, I stay on TouchWiz mostly for the Wi-Fi calling. I think the best feature is seriously the Samsung keyboard with the row of numbers up top (I think that's extracted from the Notes). I've hardly used multi, never tried quad though. Sent from my SGH-T999 using XDA Free mobile app

Thread What is your GS3 Running?

Just curious what other users are running? 4.1.2? Updated to 4.3? Any interesting ROMS/Kernels? Right now, I'm running: StockMOD Custom ROM Touchwiz 4.3 I'm planning on trying out decimalman's kernel playground, after a failed attempt to run KT747. From what I can tell KT747 doesn't seem 100%...

Okay, and if you don't mind; where can I find a stock ruu for 2.3.4? Or, does model/version matter when flashing a stock recovery?

    Thread [Q] Dinc2 CWM interfere's with Tacoroot

Hello there, I'm a noob, and installed CWM before rooting. I've found out later that I need to do the Tacoroot method for rooting. I've been following this post, and once I get to step 3,d; I don't get the red exclamation, it just boots into CWM. I get "rm failed for /data/data/recovery/log...
