What future? What would you want to use Knox for? This phone is three years old, there won't be any groundbreaking stuff coming for it in the future.

I guess there is no manufacturer warranty on the note2 anymore. So voiding the warranty by triggering knox won't be that much of an issue anymore.

Did you look what was draining your battery and prevented the phone from chargeing? Google+ was draining my battery so bad that i wasn't even able to charge it unless i disabled the app. This happened on a clean install of 5.4.7... Funny thing is that the phone is rebooting when it's connected...

That's a "cellbroadcast" message. You will get a message like that everytime your phone connects to a new mobile cell. Just google for it, there are tutorials how to disable them through terminal.

You're not alone with interlaced video. Today I tried taking a video and after about 30s the recording stopped and the video wasn't saved properly. I'm on Agni kernel.

And a fix for video recording? I can only record with the camera app. Any other app freezes, or doesn't record at all. Videos on the youtube app stop after a few seconds and i have to restart them, that's annoying.

You need to restore your efs. A new rom won't solve the problem as long as your efs is lost.

Same here... Even taking videos with the camera app often leads to a force close and no recording at all.

I'm afraid u are right. Setting location to GPS only results in no fix at all. So GPS is NOT working :( The video bug still exists in 5.4.1. Every app, that's using the camera for video, crashes constantly.

Did u flas 5.3.9 first and then dirty flashed 5.4.1? I get a gps fix in maps within seconds, so it has to be working.

video recording I have a problem with recording videos. Sometimes it works, but most of the time the camera app force closes during record. Recording videos in other apps then the camera is also impossible. I get the "camera could not be opened" error alot and I have to reboot to get the camera...

Flash cwm or twrp through odin? I mean you have to have had root in the first place to install the rom, so i guess it's only ur revovery install that got f'ed up.

Where did the screenshot function go? I´m sure i had it on the power button menu in a previous version, but now it´s gone and I can´t find it in the settings either. Do I really have to enable navigation bar just to get a navigation ring where I can set screenshot as target? How can I add...

Using latest agni kernel without any issues. If you are familiar with agni, you already know the experience. OC capability and sound mod are my main motivation for using agni.

You are right. That app is missing. I had the media problem when i came from 5.3.2 to 5.3.3. At this point mediaserver still was there when u looked at "all" apps. I just checked and on 5.3.6 it is missing. Maybe the app only appears, when the service is active. I guess there are still alot of...

Dirty flash means flashing the new version over the old one without any wipe, quick and dirty. To get back to your media problem, try deleting both mediaserver and media storage data, that helped me.

Your gallery should now be empty. Do a reboot and wait for mediaserver to scan for new media. If your gallery isn't empty, you didn't delete data of media storage.

Delete data of "media storage", this should fix double, tripple thumbnails and missing media.

Why is the music app missing the "directory" sorting feature? I can sort by title, album or artist, but that doesn't help with idtagless mp3. I want to browse my music as they are sorted in directories on the sdcard. On 4.4 this was possible, at least on dr.ketan's rom. Is it possible to do that...

Same happened to me coming from v8. I had to flash a stock 4.4 rom with odin to get the bootloader working right. Now my Knox count is 1, but it's working. After flashing the stock rom and letting it boot up once, I flashed Philz recovery and installed v12 thru the recovery as usual.

u have to switch to tablet or phablet mode in UI Switcher App. u will get a tablet notification bar on the bottom of the screen where u can open multiwindow apps. i´m having the freeze issue in landscape mode too. tried to take a foto and turned from portrait to landscape, then accidently hit...

the clock is broken in tablet mode. we have to wait for grilleld to fix this in the next release. i wittnessed another strange behaviour. when i browse the web and zoom the page, the browser freezes and crashes to the homescreen.

u know that these are only dpi (resolution) settings, that have nothing to do with the functionality of an app? even with changed dpi settings the clock is not working as it's supposed to be. This is a bug.

i´ve got a problem with the clock app. installed v10 over v8 without full wipe, just caches have been wiped. i´ve got all running fine, except the clock. whenever i tap the clock on my sense flip clock widget, the clock app force closes. i can´t set alarms, or use the timer. what can i do?

i´ve got the same problem with meebo IM. although i get an audio notification, that i received a new message, i don´t get a led notification. i tried setting up the led notification in the cm options, but the only led notification i get is when meebo looses connection to the server. in this case...

you can change the color of the notification bar in the cyanogen options. status bar customization -> extra-tweaks -> theme -> stock_black

copy the "cm6 update zipfile", do not unzip it, in openrecovery/updates together with the "gapps for hdpi devices". when u choose "install update" in openrecovery u should see both cm6 and gapps updates. install them both and then wipe.

i doubt that it´s working in windows, because windows can´t see the ext2 partition. it´s a linux partition.

u can find all the wallpapers on www.cyanogenmod.com somewhere in the forums. @gemini002 i guess u have to erase all ur partitions on the sdcard to get one big fat32 partition. afaik u can´t just erase the ext2 and add it to an exisiting partition.

it was indeed a mp3 file that was messing up the whole system. strange thing is, that cm6 on my htc dream doesn´t care about it and works fine, only the milestone goes crazy when i put that mp3 album on the sdcard. flac support is back with the new release ;) that´s cool. i was missing it on...

i had this problem too.. everytime i copy movies or mp3´s to my sdcard the mediaserver is going crazy. i have to kill the process with osmonitor in order to not drain my battery within 5hrs.
