I found that certain layer's cause it to crash, and certain other layers do not; so I found if I un-check the gmail layer after say, selecting all when applying a layer "set", I could eventually find one amongst other sets that didn't GC it. Interesting.... Sent from my 9020A using XDA Free...

Failed twice BTW- I tried dl'ing to my computer again and even tried the earlier rom file, as there are two listed on the mega site. It too failed before any installing occured. I did a complete wipe prior to this. I had to restore my backup of resurrection remix. Chris:crying:

Not making any assumptions, but this in my experience is what happens when I try to shut it off and do the "key combo" thing, with it plugged into my charger or computer. I have never had this problem if I shut it off AFTER dis-connecting it from any usb cable.- Chris

Your image is normal- you still have to "swipe" as usual to unlock the screen, then it will go straight to the source of the notification (email, text, etc) . No matter the rom., my G3 has always had this characteristic.- Chris

O OK, I flashed the theme over cloudy 2.2 and the problem starts again. I can get an app to update/install, but I have to go into recents, kill all apps. Then when I open playstore again, that app will finish. I have to do this with each app.-Chris, on a D850:confused:

Play Store Fix I will! In my case (D850) it worked for a while (weird!) but then wouldn't . That made it especially frustrating. But I'll flash them in that specific order and post back after I have dl'd several things. Thanks!-= Chris:D

Well I had to restore cloudy, because not even a dirty flash would change things. Once the play store broke, it stayed broke no matter what. Too bad. Hopefully someone will stumble upon what is causing it to "maybe work or maybe not". What is really perplexing is having it work for a while and...
