finally got it had to do the manual root until i got the # prompt run su delete su and busybox reboot then reroot the system thought it was still rooted.

got it this morning, i was stock with root still trying to get re-rooted cant even get manual to work

it uses a diff directory structure, inststead of android-sdk\tools its in android-sdk-platform\tool\platform or something like that but i cant get the root to take using any method yet

minr necro here ive just got a fascinate, got the wife a d2 i noticed the sf will go from 91-106 and the d2 stays @ 93 side by side, not moving can a software update fix this? love the phone, but when i tether it loses connection because its unstable the d2 does not, or hasnt yet

today only at best buy fascinates are free w/ 2yr contract of course you need to be eligable for an upgrade

my assumption is yes, it works on other phone this way but also remember all that time with the screen on eats up the battery on most phones

with google maps you will need an internet connection(also requires cell connection)

im new to usb phone, all previous have had proprietary connection will any mini(or is it micro) usb cable work? in other words can i get it from a pc shop and save $20 over vzw prices?

i dont think usc is the same type of cdma as vzw last i heard they hadnt updgraded to evdo yet, but were in the process so maybe not that and each version i have see of the galaxy has has something different about it
