Thread Does flashing the Unlocked U1 BL w/ T-Mo user data in the CSC work to carrier switch?

What I did to get around the model mismatch to flash from AT&T over to T-Mo, was use the U1 bootloader + TMB userdata in CSC.., I got a T-Mo boot screen, multiline (DIGITS), etc. after not being able to shake the AT&T software. It seems with the modded ODin and the unlocked S8 BL, the model...

Post Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Nougat Beta Program

The only themes that work properly and don't cause MASSIVE errors are Samsung themes. Even then it still seems to be an issue sometimes. None of what you are describing is normal. I have my S7 edge on the 7.0 beta and the only time I have seen that behavior is when download booster is enabled, which is beta related/stable on 6.0... I also had a friend tell me the same thing was going on with hers, I made sure the T-Mobile app...

XDA and Tapatalk (which it is based off of) both have force close and lag issues. Who would buy XDA Premium anyway with Tapatalk giving you access to more than just XDA is beyond me as well.. but there have been several updates from tapatalk to fix this issue. I think the latest one fixed it.

    Post T-Mo Galaxy S3 gimped; using MSM8260?!?!?

Ugh... because LTE Advanced provides a two fold increase in peak speed in just 10MHz of spectrum over Release 9 LTE. Why would T-Mobile launch a phone that would get only 30Mbps on a network capable of 70Mbps? That's inefficent for T-Mobile's network management and by the time the network...

    Post T-Mo Galaxy S3 gimped; using MSM8260?!?!?

Ugh, this thread is sickening. Why are T-Mobile customers set out to believe T-Mobile is trying to actively give you less and rob you? The phone has a Krait S4 processor, and DC-HSPA+ - NO LTE. You knew this when you bought the damn thing. This SoC is specifically for HSPA+.. end of story

    Post [Sprint] LTE Network

For them to go to LTE and not embarrass themselves with slow speeds they will need to go to fiber.. which is why their LTE rollout will be slow and not completed at the optimistic time frame set by Sprint (which is what I've come to expect from them. Post [Sprint] LTE Network

If you want to talk about getting your facts straight and accurate you would know that T-Mobile is already investing 4 billion of their own dollars (read: not loaned money) in going to LTE. Post [Sprint] LTE Network

Sprint must be joking if they can't run fiber to their cell sites for LTE. This is probably the primary reason why their LTE rollout is so slow. Post [Sprint] LTE Network

LTE Advanced is not going to improve speed on the GS3, furthermore Sprint's LTE network won't use any "wider" anything - thanks to their limited PCS holdings that they are using for LTE release 9 at the moment. Post T-Mo Galaxy S3 gimped; using MSM8260?!?!?

All of the enhancements found in release 10 would not be compatible with the Galaxy S III - pointless for T-Mobile to sell a phone that couldn't use carrier aggregation, the higher efficiency of LTE-A and would negate them even going directly to release 10 LTE.

    Post T-Mo Galaxy S3 gimped; using MSM8260?!?!?

The reason why the T-Mobile T999 doesn't have LTE is because if it did it would be incompatible with the LTE launched next year.. LTE release 9 is what the SGS3 LTE versions have, and LTE Release 10/LTE Advanced is what T-Mobile is launching next year.

    Post T-Mobile radio modem

The AT&T version is LTE enabled, there are extra antennas for LTE. The T-Mobile version is just for HSPA+, no LTE.. and if you are getting HSPA+ with the AT&T GS3 it would be 21Mbps HSPA+ only.
