Tried the Google dialer in the OP ---- Doesn't fix the problem. Clean flashed a stock rom just to check ----- Also does not work. I think something with Google is borked.

The "places" part of my Google Dialer has suddenly stopped working. It does not display any results other than my contacts. I would appreciate some help troubleshooting this. I know it is not a rom problem, it did previously work just fine. Here is what I have tried so far. In dialer settings...

I have the double tap issue although it is intermittent. Also there seems to be general wonkiness in the screen. Sometimes when rearranging apps on a screen they drag to the spot you want, and then other times they just stop moving. Happens too when pressing the button to open the app drawer...

Yes I have the same issue. When entering voicemail password, it has to be really s l o w and deliberate or only 1 or 2 characters get recognized. Only happens on the dialer, keyboard is normal. Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app

I had the optimizing android bootloop when fastboot flashing a new radio. Everything was working great, then I messed with the radio and had to wipe and start from scratch. All is well now but it makes me wonder about future flashes. I think I will make a nandroid now!

Touchpad does not have hardware to power OTG. The only way it kind of works is with external power supply.

Have you changed the dpi settings? If so it is probably trying to open in tablet mode. Mine opens all those apps normally.

OK Google everywhere works perfectly for me. I had been trying for a couple of weeks to make it work and had force closes on voice record. I dirty flashed 3.92 over 3.8. Didn't wipe anything or clear data. It works with screen off and not plugged in. Even survives a reboot and still works!!! I...

Mine deep sleeps just fine on wireless charging. Set it on the charging pad last evening and here is the result this morning. Also, the wireless charging speed doesn't seem any different that with my N5. I have had no issues with reboots either.

I tried it manually and with the flashable zip and neither one works for me. It records my voice like it is going to work, but i can't select "always on" . It just takes me back to recording my voice again. I am also using simoleaosp gapps that circaflex linked me to yesterday to get dialer...

I believe an app called Sound Profile in the play store will work for you.

Thank You! That did the trick. I was using the "L" gapps from that site and not the minimal version. Goolge dialer works great now!

Completely agree. The rounded back is nice in the hand but worthless when sitting on a flat surface. The phone is very slippery on the sides and back. I am sure it will go spinning off a table or I will drop it at some point. Yet, it is a great phone!

I have the same problem on a lot of videos when using the stock browser or chrome. However most videos will play fine in firefox.

Use chrome for browsing. Mail and gmail are also broken in the reading pane.

Just flashed 196 and I still use the NX gesture bar. One problem I notice is when trying to use Quick launch targets with the NX bar, the targets are moved around to where only target 3 works. Target 2 (Google Now) displays partially but I can't select it, and target 1 is off the screen...

We are close to having a gesture bar now. I set the nav bar to 20dp which is really small. Then when you want home or back or recent, I just swipe up from the bottom of the screen in the general vicinity of the button and the action is selected. Also you don't have to give up the quick launch...

In settings/sound, there is Screen lock sound. The sound is delayed just a hair after the power button is pushed and until the screen turns off. iphone? :(

I have tried the CM kernel with 175. Can't really tell the difference in normal activities. Everything I tried that worked before still works now.
