I posted this in the Waiting Room thread, but I thought I would ask here as well....
I'm somewhat annoyed. I placed my order via Verizon B2B as soon as the preorders went live. My order shows "complete." No sign of tracking. My email says delivery by 10/18. I can't check in FedEx Delivery...
I'm somewhat annoyed. I placed my order via Verizon B2B as soon as the preorders went live. My order shows "complete." No sign of tracking. My email says delivery by 10/18. I can't check in FedEx Delivery Manager because it's being delivered to a business. Also, no luck tracking by...
My status has changed on the Verizon B2B site. It no longer says "pending." Now it says "complete." Typically this means it’s going to ship within hours. I don’t have any tracking info yet, though.
I think I know what your problem is and how to fix it. Are you by any chance using a USB Type C to Type C cable? Try using a Type C to Type A cable. I was having the same issue with my Dell XPS13. I was getting frustrated. I switched out the cable and everything went smoothly.
Verizon has my Panda listed as "delivered by 11/1." I ordered through VZW b2b. I am wondering if they are getting priority because I received my Kinda Blue pixel already and most that ordered on the first day were getting November dates.
I had the same issue. With the help of another XDA member, I determined it was because my XL was on Oreo. I had the option of backing up to my Nougat Pixel non-XL.
The build quality is pretty astounding. I picked up my Pixel XL and kind of felt bad for it.
It's not as snappy as the Pixel.
The hardware buttons take some getting used to.
Haven't messed with the camera yet.
Textra isn't working properly and I'm not sure why. The send button doesn't do...
Mine is here, too. It feels great in-hand.
I'm not sure why this is, but when restoring from an Android backup, the newest backup available was from 66 days ago. I looked at my Pixel XL and it shows that everything is backed up. Any ideas?
It's the charger. The Pixel C shipped with a 15W charger. It doesn't play well with the 18W. That's what the Pixel XL comes with and I had the same issue using it on my Pixel C
I like the device. It looks utilitarian, something I loved about the Nexus 5. I'm kinda over the glossy, reflected fronts and backs of Samsungs. Both Pixels look unassuming and elegant.
I'm using a VZW Pixel XL on AT&T and I have the best reception I have ever had. I don't know why he's not getting LTE coverage, but that's not my experience whatsoever.
Another thing to add....
I am getting much better reception with the Pixel than I have ever gotten with any other phone. At home I have a Microcell. The signal is so dismal that I must have one. Before the Microcell, I was missing calls, texts and couldn't get any LTE. Not anymore. I have...
Does anyone know if it works with AT&T? My vm number is being forwarded so I can use Google Voice or I would try it myself. I would like to not have to use Google Voice.
I share everyone's sentiments here. I received my XL today.
A few things...
1) Coming from a 6P that I love, I am in love with the size of the XL. It doesn't feel like a big phone. It's not unwieldy and it feels more pocketable. I know the size difference isn't huge on paper, but it's more...
