Anyway flashing 815 won't unlock the phone for using other sim card, so don't do it. If it's for dev purpose go for it but flashing a 815 over a 812 is a bad idea and can't unlock the bootloader and for the carrier lock you have to buy a unlock code, check on eBay i've buyed mine for 10$ cad

The h812 phone is needed, what i would like to do is finding a method to flash a 811 kdz without brick !, because if we directly flash it, cause a insta brick. So i will do like 81210h -> 81510h -> 81010a -> 81110h in order (flashing kdz)

Can i get some volunteers to flash some kdz on their device to flash finaly a 811 to unlock ? It's may hardbrick but it worth a try. Because on the 812 in Canada warranty isn't a problem got mine replaced for free but i've lost my remplacement phone... So i need some volunteers. Just PM me :)

With the 812 we can't directly flash a 811, without causing a hardbrick. I was only wondering if i could flash a 810 successfully a 811 wont be a problem ;)

i've seen it before but flashing the 811 kdz give me a hardbrick. If i flash 810 then 811 that could work but cannot try it right now.

Which variant your using ? i wanna test to install the system.img partition into anyother variant that cannot be officially unlocked and try it. *i've get access to g4 812 bootloader with flashing a 815 firmware but can't unlock it...

So you need someone that can access the website of LG developers and give you your own unlock.bin because you can't ? Or just wanted a random unlock.bin (this can't unlock your device)?

Yeah but i can't remember if a stock kdz could be modified with an injected system.img, so we could flash the 10h of my phone the 812 and apply the system.img of the 811 and unlock it ?

you could always try to flash the first revision of the 811 firmware that is below 10H, i've tried on mine and got me into HardBrick. Got repaired for free.

Can some tester could sacrifice is device for testing ? I need someone to find the 811 10A or less than 10H to flash into any other G4 that is not unlock. I've tested the 811 10H but it's got the anti rollback version that brick my phone (812) so we need the 10A

You can't unlock the bootloader on the H812 actually, but you can root if you downgrade to LP.

I just found that with my 812 if i flash the 10h version i could flash any other version of this phone but the 811 give me a hard brick, *not so bad* I think that we should focus on the kdz of the 811. (i've reached access to fastboot but i've contacted lg for an unlock.bin *being the stupid...

The point is if the G4 wasn't bootlooping it would be a great phone for anyone else than "developer" *person who use custom firmware and root :P In general the G4 wasn't for me and all other canadian version phone lol ;)

I think LG kill the G series with this cellphone, seriously the G4 was a big fail. But mine was 507.

i didn't know that the t-mobile version doesn't need any unlock.bin ? So how they unlock the bl ? After a quick look, im downloading the KDZ of the 811 ! I'll give you update soon as my device install it ;) Edit 2 : As far as i could see i need to downgrade at 10h to be able to flash the 811...

Just flashing a 815 kdz using LGFlashTool2014 and yes it's booting up, the only thing that isn't working properly is the cellular network (should be a difference between modem files used in this kdz). Then i only activated the OEM unlock in the developer menu and type fastboot reboot bootloader.

Just a little reminder for those that are on telus or bell that want to export the kdz of the update via LG bridge check in the AppData\Local\LG Electronics\LG Bridge\SWUpgrade it should be inside another folder. Do this before doing the other step ! But for downloading the update after...
