I had this problem too. I had too many devices activated on my exchange account (max 10). It was from activating it on two devices multiple times.... So you may want to check that

I just tried the iPhone headphones out with a stock phone and they do not work. So I guess your device is fine, you will just have to wait for root and your headphones will work once you have a custom rom!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to assign actions to the long pressing the soft keys on the Fascinate? For example, when you hold down the home soft key it brings up your most recently used apps. Is there a way to make the other three keys do something like open a specified app? Any help...
