I tried all 3 and I had issues. It would say it's enabled and processing but the second a sound plays it says Processing No.

I read somewhere that SELinux plays a roll in it too. SELinux needs to be permissive. I also remember ggow saying he needed to add more stuff to the SELinux Permissive list. So I'm just holding off on V4A for that reason for now.

It's a bit of a pain to figure out if you haven't done it before. Settings -> Storage -> sdcard1 -> 3 dot menu top right -> Storage Settings -> Format -> Erase & Format bottom right big orange button.

I've noticed that on my tablet if I disable wifi and re-enable it wifi won't automatically reconnect. I have to open the list and select the one access point it should connect to.

I've noticed another weird thing. That permissions dialog that comes up when you install an app from the playstore, sometimes I see it flash. It'll flash on the screen for a millisecond and then it will disappear. I'm not sure what causes it and I don't see it often either. :/

Whoops I completely misread his post. I was thinking he wanted to try and build android. I mean he COULD use a vm to go through the process but I don't recommend it. That's how I did mine. In his/her case though a bootable usb is better.

They could also do it via VM. It wouldn't be as fast as host install but it would be a good sandbox to experiment in.

Yup, I had the same problem. You will have to get it from apkpure and side load it. That's how I did it.
