I don't think that wouldn't really help. The problem with that is the segment with the boot animation actually goes by just as fast on both phones. It's just portion with the Samsung logo that takes forever really... I should probably add that to the OP. Also, IIRC if I were to delete the boot...

Just got the case in the mail. I think it's great. It does make the phone a little bulky, but no too much IMHO. The main problem I have with it is that the hole for the speaker does not line up and actually covers up half of it. Not really worth returning it for, but it irks me slightly.

Charging Animation Ok, I've noticed a really small, tedious, insignificant problem that's been bugging me. The charging animation starts and hangs for a few seconds at about 25%, continues to 100%, and then begins again at 25%. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

No, they're nothing like that at all. You barely even notice the thing is there and it's quite smooth. They're stiff and much easier to put on as well. The only problem you might have is getting the damn thing off, but you probably won't find much reason to. Sidenote: Ultra clear is back in stock!

I ordered one regardless, but after reading a bit more into it, I get what you mean. My stealth guards cover isn't having that problem, but seeing how SGP doesn't use as much adhesive, I can see how it could end up looking crappy.

You can access it through an app called Root Explorer which you can download from the market. Open it up and scroll down until you find system. Then do the same to find media.

Does anybody know if it's at all possible to extend the amount of time the boot up sound can play? The boot animation I have works great with this drumloop I have behind it, but it gets cut off at about 8-10 seconds.
