Make sure the media volume is turned up on your phone before placing it in the dock, or turn it up from within your media player. It sounds like you are outputting a low signal a amplifying it through the stereo. I had a similar issue at first.

Mine was stuck in airplane mode at one point. I think I traced mine back to reseating the SD card. It started working after I powered it off, removed battery and SD card, replaced SD card, replaced battery, and then powered on the phone.

I was under the impression that it is firmware. Firmware gets programmed into chips, in this case, the camera chip. This sounds like what would happen if you turned your computer off during a BIOS flash. Sounds like the write started, but never finished. I would say that it is toast. My 2 cents.

Alot of decks are coming with USB ports. That will read it just fine. You just have to be sure to unmount the sd card after plugging it in.

Yeah, mine took quite a few tries before it said it was successfully installed. Then I had to do the browser plugin enable.

For those of you that don't know, to enable Flash in the Browser, you need to go into settings, and turn on "enable plug-ins".

Yeah, I will too. I can't stand plugging in multiple cords each time I get in the car. I've heard it is a little tough getting it out of the samsung stock, but I can live with that.

I just went in with root explorer and mounted system/app as RW, renamed FullBattPopup.apk to FullBattPopup.apk.OLD and it did not get recreated after a reboot. I guess I'll have to wait till a full charge to see if it comes back.

My GPS seems to work better only sometimes now that i'm on dj05. Today it didn't work well, but yesterday it was very quick. Bizarre.

Are you keeping it in the .TAR format, or are you extracting it? You should keep it in the TAR compressed format.

I agree, if you haven't done any roms yet, you might as well go to DJ05. It is pretty painless. I'm running the DJ05 Super Clean by JT currently.

To fix mine, I applied the Update.zip from the previous ROM I was using. Always a good idea to keep one just in case.

Are you rooted?

Mine did that after a bad flash, I was getting FC's, and the setuo wiz as well. Have you done any ROM flashing lately?
