GPS was showing disabled even though it thought the radio was on (pic below) Edit: I flashed the lollipop GPS fix from the other ROMs and it took care of GPS. Good to go now, instant lock :)

Are you able to flash CM11? That seems to work for me in those situations. Are you flashing a kernel when you flash a rom like liquid? See what happens if you try to flash CM11 first, boot, see if it'll go, then try to wipe and flash liquid, it's worth a shot. If not that then try to flash...
