Me too. I booked it as an upgrade for my poco F1. Poco is still running as good as day one but I just couldn't resist the deal and bought g8x. The only concern i have about the phone is the developer community support. Poco has such good developer support, and for g8x it's quite the opposite...

update : i tried flashing 3-4 different kernels, but in every kernel my phone gets stuck in fastboot and doesn't boot up. then when I flash tha boot backup from twrp the phone starts up. Any idea what I might me doing wrong while flashing the kernel?

nope the only game added is pubg as I don't want notifications and other disturbances while playing it. it weirdly uses 500 mb cache and 500mb data. even after clearing these multiple times, they return to this as soon I start the game again.
