No problems for me so far. Upgrade from LOS 16 went smoothly using inkypen's twrp 3.3.1.
So far no bugs for LOS 17 0618 except that build prop is more difficult to edit now.
Thanks again for the update. Is there any chance this will become "official" in the near future?
A bit OT, I tried to donate (not much) but don't have paypal or CCs. Do you maybe accept Nano coin? I like it because It has no fees.
I had these deadlocks/reboots too. This is how I "fixed" it:
-wiped everything & formatted internal storage
-flashed fw_lithium_miui_MIMIXGlobal_8.9.20_c7720e306_8.0
-flashed lineage-16.0-20181114
-flashed open_gapps-arm64-9.0-pico-20181104
-took out sim card & rebooted
-skipped backup by...
I don't use backup but adding a google account was no problem.
Bugs so far:
-several reboots
-can't enable encryption even with password set
edit:
-random reboots seem to have calmed down so far
-root didn't work with supersu but with latest magisk
edit: Guys guys, I got it working!
Formatted & wiped everything, flashed different gapps, nothing worked. What finally did the trick was an old hack I remembered from CM days to skip the setup screen: keep tapping the 4 corners of the screen clockwise. After that you should get an option to...
Besides a few minor bugs (like extended desktop) the rom is running great.
Battery life is better than on 15.1 for me. I get >10 hours of SOT with wifi and mobile data enabled.
The rom is smoother for me too, especially noticeable during multitask switching.
Exactly. HW crypto (FDE) is broken as noted in the first post.
It seems currently not possible to upgrade from LOS 15.1 and keep your user data if it was encrypted. So careful there!
I'm happy with the latest release but this post makes me want to try the 0906 build. Can anyone confirm this?
How much SOT are you getting with that build?
If anyone is interested, I "calibrated" my screen in the LOS display settings and got rid of the green tint and over-saturated colors. It looks much better now. Everybody's display is different so these settings might not work for you.
Color profile: default - default
Display Mode - off (if...
I'm using this version:
MGCB_7.0H_C2API_v.4.0_AllinOne_Full_Manual
with the following settings:
Model: Pixel XL (corr)
Support level override: NEXUS_2015
Supporterd hw level back camera: LIMITED
Supporterd hw level fron camera: LEVEL_3
Panorama resolution: High
Save location: off
Camera shutter...
Ghosting
Can anyone confirm that with the latest firmware posted here and LOS (1004) the display suffers from severe ghosting?
I thought I was going crazy but then flashed back MIUI and the ghosting is gone.
Is the firmware responsible for this? Which firmware are you using?
The latest...
Latest release (1004) works perfectly. Amazing battery life so far without using custom kernels or special battery saving apps.
Only bug I encountered so far:
Hangouts calls don't work properly. The person I'm calling can't hear me. Also I can't even hang up.
Running great on my N9 since the first nightlies. The only major bug is afaik the error message at boot.
There was an experimental nightly one day ago. Any information what was experimental?
Same here. It happens at around the last 10% of the brightness slider.
I'm not sure but I think it started happening after I messed with the "Display & lights" settings. And now there's some setting that won't turn off completely.
Could anyone fix this without flashing a custom kernel?
Are...
The stock camera crashes when I:
-enable RAW
-select slow shutter
-select a shutter speed of 2, 4 or 8s in camera settings
The annoying part is that I have to reboot every time to fix the camera as it seems to be unable to connect again after crashing. Is there any way to fix this without...
Mine arrived yesterday. Build date July 23rd. It's going back because of yellow banding. It looks dirty in the corners. Reminds me of dying CRTs. I expect better for 2014.

Same here. The device feels slower with KitKat even after a factory reset. More mirco stutter and screen refreshes.
Reminds me of the 4.1 -> 4.2 update. I'll wait for the factory image and hope maybe that will make it faster. If not I'm going back to 4.3.
Works great. Very stable. No reboots so far.
What seems to work:
-HWA
-phone & data
-adb
-sound
-screen rotation
What doesn't work yet:
-wifi (won't turn on)
-camera (can't connect)
Haven't tested bluetooth or GPS yet. First impressions are that it runs a tiny bit smoother.
Actually that's one of the reasons why I use custom launchers: To get rid of Google Search, Google Now, and "always on" voice commands.
I don't need these anyway and as a bonus get longer battery life (by completely disabling Google Search).
Yes, I was bluetooth tethering which seems more battery friendly then wifi tethering (for both devices).
The browser used is dolphin browser. As I said before I think it's a little bit more battery and RAM friendly compared to chrome.
-Go to settings -> your google account and turn everything off you don't need. Like location history or photo sync.
-Don't use too many widgets on your homescreen, preferably none
-Go to wifi settings and set wifi to be only enabled when the screen is on.
-Disable automatic brightness and set it...
Same for me. I just can't get the same battery life as with stock kernel. No matter what configuration I select. At the end of a full cycle I'm missing 60-90 mins of usage time compared to stock.
I love the incredible performance of this kernel but because of this I switched back to stock...
I'm running this kernel at 1200Mhz and it feels super responsive/stable.
However for some reason battery life is slightly worse than with stock kernel where I would get an extra hour of usage time.
My settings are: interactive/deadline Battery/Offline/Safer
I tried slight undervolting but so...
This is what I did:
-log into your account
-go to settings, account, google, your account and disable photo sync
-go to settings, apps, all apps, Gallery, and clear cache
-open gallery and they should be gone
How do I re-enable it? My guess was:
echo "1" > /sys/devices/tegradc.0/smartdimmer/enable
but that didn't seem to work even after a reboot. Or am I not noticing the changes anymore?
