Guys I'm fairly certain this is just the typical 5.0.1 problem... I'm experiencing it too and factory wipes only fix temporarily. Had same thing on my Moto X 2014 and went away with 5.1 update.

I can confirm that if you have a 360 this is the cause. You can verify this by disconnecting the 360 through wear and the problem going away. For now what I have due is set up an IFTT to disconnect wear when by car's Bluetooth is connected.

ART was definitely better on Nexus, but on this phone it caused wakelocks and a bit of lag. Switched back to Dalvik and those all went away. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

I got to same point. You need to be S-OFF. I had to use Rumrunner but now working perfectly. Also make sure you use TWRP and not CWM; the "fastboot erase cache" from bootloader let me get back into recovery to accomplish all of this. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

OK so now officially stuck. Got new Recovery installed via Fastboot, but still can't get past bootloop and into recovery itself. Other than RUU am i soft bricked? I get the Team Win Splash screen but then goes right back to HTC in a loop... any advice would be appreciated.

i would assume NOT unless you hear otherwise. although the small file size would suggest its a minor update, i am not as up to date on what the changes this rom made are to know if it will impact. most likely it would fail in any case, as most of these updates have failed if you are not bone...

haha thanks man, i know its my fault. hey as a general question with these backups, in case of wipe... should we be copying these backups to the external SD in case internal gets wiped in this process or is that not a likely scenario?
