Ok, so mazook98 asked me to check up on the thread as it has (more than) slightly derailed. Considering a mod (thanks Godzson) had to come in and clean it up shows that there's something wrong here. Anyway... Toast is still working on an update. He hasn't released one yet because he's fixing...

This is a moot and off-topic discussion. The point of it, however, was that the validity of Beats on CM, and I know kmobs as well as Bumblebee are adamantly against it.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. Beats is all marketing. If it's just a preset you're chasing, then make that. Regardless, everyone has different tastes in music.. Some worse than others :p (Obviously that last part is a joke). As for the auto/task killer discussion, it's a dead...

this is the official CM build for the EVO 3D as toast is part of teamdouche. The build is still in its alpha stages, hence why there are no stable or even nightly versions.

I'm rather curious myself, actually. I don't see why it shouldn't be in CM. However, I'll try to find out an answer; but if someone else knows it, please share.

you're not explaining much of your issue. what exactly is slow? internet speeds? if so, what is your signal strength? have you tried doing speed tests in both sense and cm? is your prl updated?

Hey folks! I worked on cleaning up a few custom cm-themed splashes. Before I share them, please note the following: These are flashable via bootloader (not sure about 1.5, if anyone wants to test and report back, please do). If your phone doesn't boot past splash/boot animation, just reboot...

The problem with CAF, the 3D open sourced code, is that it...well, it sucks. Toast did some epic magic work with his own hands to get it working, at least 3D video. Swyped from my EVO

We do have 3D video working fine. There is some issue with rendering it properly, but I'm not sure of the details. Bottomline? Progress is definitely being made. One thing to remember is that nothing is impossible when it comes to Android, especially when toast and shinzul are involved ;)...

Well, the build was mostly to test why BT wasn't working for me. Obviously, there were a lot more things committed. So far, apart from the weird BT-related issues, everything seems pretty stable. Battery life seems on par with previous builds. I'm not sure how close toast is to another release...

my 2011 mitsubishi lancer gts didn't work well with valpha3. however, i'm testing a new build for toast, where it mostly works. however, i get issues during a couple of situations, when i'm going 88mph and when my rocket launchers are deployed. (see what i did thar?)

The GSM EVO 3D is very different from the CDMA version. I strongly suggest not trying to flash this build on your GSM phone. It will become a major problem. The GSM version of CM isn't out because HTC hasn't released source for the GSM phone. Last I heard, Bumblebee was interested in working on...

have you tried without juice defender? honestly, i'm not a big fan of the app, so i always suggest testing without that first.
