Has anyone tried to use this?

I'm just wondering because I'm pretty sure the sprint moto x dosen't have the t-mobile LTE bands anyways.
Thanks for the help guys! It worked, all I had to do was flash the rom and then do the fastboot command, again thanks for the help. After so many months I finally have the freedom to use any rom I want!
I flashed the roms I've tested with twrp, so if I'm correct this wouldn't have had any effect on the modem partitions. also I didn't flash any sbfs so I haven't updated the bootloader or whatever wont let you downgrade.
any other ideas of what I'm doing wrong? perhaps I haven't set up the...
Thanks for the work on the sim unlock!
I'm having a problem though I tried a few custom roms and so far the only one that works completely is the xt1053 cm 11 rom, every other rom can't send texts or make calls but can get data. I've messed around with all the apn settings and it seems like...
I have used RW for about 2 or 3 months and I am planning to switch to something like T-mobile for various reasons. all the reasons that annoy me enough to switch are somewhat small stuff but that's just me.
the reasons are: no emoji support, no 3rd party texting app supported fully (texting...
Would this work only on your rom or is there a way to permanently enable t mobile as the default carrier. I was eventually planing to switch to tmobile as republic annoys me.
Great! My ultimate dream would be having a way to just install the apks on any custom rom but I understand this may not be possible. Looking forward to someone giving a custom RW rom a try though!
I'm with you on that, I've been considering switching to the nexus 5 for a while now. the moto x has alot of good stuff but there are a few alternatives to active notifications (and for me personally I don't use active notifications that much anymore since I have a pebble), I rarely use...
Yep yep, I know about xposed modules but from what I've seen of xposed modules they aren't as fast and seamless as a well polished rom like Cyanogenmod or Paranoid android. I also haven't seen all the features I want from a custom rom in xposed modules such as a the cm theme chooser.
Thanks for...
So I unlocked my RW moto x and tried flashing a custom rom and surprise surprise there isn't a rom that supports RW yet.
So I was wondering if it would be possible to make a sort of 'patch' for other roms in general that installs the apks need to run a phone on RW. I took a look at a stock RW...
So I unlocked via the Chinese middleman the 2nd time around and I flash paranoid android. It thought I was on sprint (idk what I expected). Is there a way to make it work with RW? besides flashing the stock rom I mean.
heres the potato quality proof! i recommend you grab a code before he goes again.
EDIT: I cant post links yet and the pic is too large to upload heres part one of the link postimg (dot) org/image/q0nx6pygd/
I paid last night and just got a code like a second ago, I have a 2014 made device and will edit this post if it all goes well and works.
EDIT: IT WORKED!!! so happy. my device is a xt1049 and made in 2014 incase anyone wanted to know
Not sure if you know this but apparently RW's 2nd tier plan dosen't allow users to use data but this is controlled in the rom (if the people who told me this know what they are talking about) and if thats true I'm sure someone with root and the right know how could get around that but unlocking...
I was honestly going to switch to a nexus 5 on the tmobile $30 plan if there was no bootloader unlock from republic, so if you could get an exploit that would make me so happy. I would help but I'm only just starting coding so i'd be in over my head.
I made a post in the Republic Wireless community section asking for the ability to unlock bootloaders, I really doubt they will allow it or even respond to it but if you really want it you should upvote it and maybe add a comment.
Right now the only option for unlocking is to hope Republic...
If you are talking about this line "<step operation="getvar" var="max-download-size" />" I already tried that before using the batch file and it got further than before but stop at flashing the recovery and it said something along the lines of failed pre validation or something.
Thanks though
Could someone help me out? I flashed the zip found in this thread and was having some bluetooth problems with my pebble and the new update and saw that flashing the rsd lite update fixed some various problems for people so I tried to flash it but it failed every time and now I cant boot my phone...
I was just wondering if any or all custom roms built for the Moto X use the cpu cores that touchless control and active notifications use, or are these cores not usable for anything other than those features?
I can also help test, I have a working DX in my desk somewhere, I was actually hoping to eventually build a 4.4 rom myself for it once I learned how to do it but I'm glad someone beat me to it since I would have taken forever.
I recently install ubuntu touch ( which I had done before) to see what a newer verison was like and then decided to reflash the stock rom with wugfresh's toolkit, it however gets stuck on the userdata part and I cant boot anything else but fastboot since it was erased. any suggestions?
