Thanks, I will try it again today. I was on this rom before and I loved it, but i flashed with a different version of TWRP so I got the updates to work fine but I had to use an extra app just to get cell signal. So I tried to switch to the "correct"version of TWRP and soft bricked my phone...

I would love to go back to this rom but there still seems to be confusion on what TWRP version to use. The link in the OP is for a verizon version. Can somebody give a clear answer on what recovery will not mes anything up.

I had the same issue. Latest version of TWRP was working flawlessly with the auto update, but I had to use SeLinux to get network, I was told to switch to the TWRP version in the OP and when I did I lost the ability to view internal data in recovery, which really sucks since the updates would...

That might be it, since I was on 4.4.2 before. Do you know if there are better hosting sites for the download file because the ones on that site take 6 hours to download.

still didnt want to go into recovery but I flashed CWM recovery through odin and I was able to go into it. Now ill flash the TWRP and see if I can flash my rom.

I tried the sammobile website but the downloaded files didnt work for me. I finally downloaded the T889UVALL4 factory image from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102380 but now im stuck in a bootloop. ill see if I can get into recovery now and if so Ill just flash...

I was on the omni rom and decided to change my recovery when this happened. It wouldnt boot past the samsung screen. I cannot get into recovery but I can get into download mode. I know one possible fix is flashing the stock image through Odin but I cannot find the stock images. All the links...

Latest nightly 8/14/13 is 10.2!!!!!! Be careful when downloading! I accidentally flashed without paying much attention and now I hope I can go back without any issues.

Is there any way to reduce the number of home screens, I know I can install a launcher to do this but is there anything built in the rom that will allow me to do this?

Had a strange thing happen to me today, the lock screen shifted right and up to where I could only see the left bottom 4 circles of the pattern lock, everything else was centered even when I got a call the screen was centered but the pattern lock was still shifted, I had to reboot to get it back...

Is twrp recommend or should I stick with cwm

To my understanding, flashing back to stock requires the stock recovery and a stock image. I found the stock image here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_Amaze_4G/ROMs#Stock_ROMs but can somebody help me find a stock recovery?

Yes unfortunately my note 2 got stolen at a party and even if I had some kind of tracking app installed it would be useless because they pulled the battery as soon as they took it. This gave me an idea that some smart developer might take advantage of. I propose we cook something into the rom's...

Can I flash x5 on top of x3 without full wipe? Or do I need to do the x4 first... really dont want to wipe everything

Does this rom have crazy wake up lag? Im on the x3 and I tried 2 different kernels but still get a 5 second wake up lag from time to time.

Nope no problem here. I did watch somebody do a video review of a similar case and his cut outs didn't look as precise as this one so maybe you have a similar case to his but this one gives me no problems at all.

You need a 5pin to 11 pin adapter to make what you have work, the adapter can be found for $3 shipped

I flashed this last night, as is, didnt change the kernel or anything. Phone ran great all day although it was getting hot when I was using it. Well last night it didnt charge all the way, after about 7 hours of charging it was still under 50%. Anybody else having this problem?
