You need to go back to stock. You cannot run an OTA update from a rooted device. you can just flash the stock img's and run "fastboot oem lock" then follow the steps on the screen. once you are relocked and back to stock you will get all the updates. You will have to go from 3.0 through all the...

Where does rom manager look for backup and restore info. I have my " external " folder that is my true micro sd card. My backups show up when I reboot into recovery but wont show in rom manager. Ive also notice a new folder named "ext_sdcard" there is nothing in this folder and im not sure...

Does anyone know of a way to reduce the size of my nandroid backups. I see it backing up cache and temp files. Where can I find some of these files to clear them out.

You dont need alot of knowledge and the guids are ez to follow. The problem with one click's are they dont expose you to ADB so when something goes wrong with the one click you wont know what to do. ADB is something that I avoided but with an unlocked bootloader its a good place to learn. :)...

your step 9 failed then. It cant find the file you pushed or the path is being typed wrong. Run through pushing the files over again. Ive run through this many times and the only time I get that error is when pushing a file fails.

The only things that would get messed up would be rom manager backups ( copy them back into the correct folder after you put it back into the phone) titainum backups, any apps you install to SD. I do this every few months myself. i hate all the bloat

I love custom roms because I hate having the same exact device as the person next to me. I like to customize everything I own. Thats why I got a Xoom. If i wanted the same device as everyone else that behaved the same I would have got an Ipad. ( ewww ipad)

Ive noticed the same thing. We use html email sigs and out logo will do that. What i did was saved a copy of the logo ( same filename and everything) to my downloads folder. That fixes it for about 70%. Im guessing its an html render issue.

You can always just copy your stuff off with a computer. it wont back up all your setting and such but at least you wont lose any data.

I had to install an app called busybox installer. I also had to go into SU and remove busybox, then it asked for root priv's again, Say yes then everything should work.

What ive noticed is somepeople need to keep going with "adb shell....." others need to do step 12 out of shell. I have no clue why but as long as you got it im happy :)

u won't lose ur cams. I have a guide up in the dev section if u decide to root. I love my backups and of kernel. Working SD rocks too

im am old wow player. I use to use logmein to do dailies. Its not very pretty but if u need ur wow fix it works

I use root explorer. as soon as I open it i can see an "external" folder. I have my backups all going there. Im not sure why its not working for you. If you were able to flash the kernel in section 3 then your device can read the card fine. Ill see what I can dig up for you

If you boot into recovery and go into mounts and storage can you mount it. if you plug in your computer from this point you should see external.

It works after doing all these steps. It will show up as "External"

If you are worried about the DL link you can get the files from the threads directly. I would never put my reputation at risk by spreading infected files. Cant really say much more :)

This is the 1st guide Ive done so I knew things would be missing, thanks for the heads up. I hate how some of those threads bounce you around like a ping pong ball.
