Do the new Onn tablets have unlocked bootloaders? The previous generation Onn specs are not close to the 2017 HD 10. There isn't even a development forum for them on XDA.

It's all in that guide I linked to . There is a soft brick option and one where you have to open the case. I would suggest reading a lot more before you start. Start with that whole unlock/root thread.

I figured there was no way to roll back so I just did a factory reset and sent it back. I used the tool kit to disable updates but it looks like that doesn't work. On the fence about buying another 10 or an 8 . It sounds like with the 8 I can unlock the bootloader which presents more options.

That is my understanding from what I have read but I have not actually done it. You would uninstall via Magisk and it restores the original boot.img that it has backed-up. Then you are back to stock to take the OTA.

Interesting. I never realize that. I keep all my apps organized in folders so I only go to the app drawer for things I rarely use. I just assumed everything that was installed was in there.

I'm seeing the exact same thing. I get the failed to mount vendor and error 7 and the rom will not load . I have the latest Blu Spark. I cannot check the Vendor partition in the mount screen either. I am on beta 9. Do I have to be on beta 12 to flash beta 13? Or is a full wipe required?
