Unfortunately I tried this a few times to no avail. Fortunately for anyone else with this problem I think it's fixed. After wiping I ran Fix Permissions in TWRP... that seems to have done the trick. I'm up and running now, no bugs. Thanks for the input!

I don't have this ROM installed so I can't confirm, but I'm pretty after you reboot for ART you need to boot the phone to recovery and wipe dalvik before allowing the system to boot. At least that was Skeevy's guide to do it on his kitkat compilation thread.

Is it an LTE or a Wifi-Only model? Go to settings >apps> >all> Google Services Framework. Force stop and clear data, then try to check for updates again. Repeat this process a few times for good measure and see if you get anything. If still no updates, get the factory image from here...

Moto X architecture is completely different from our phone. It isn't just a S4, it's an S4 with two separate low power processors for processing voice and gestures. I don't know how kernels work but for this reason I don't think the moto x kernel will work with our phone...
