Ya you're right about going with lower / middle of the bands. I noticed this with 2.4ghz band too, I had it set to auto in my router settings and it picked 11, but AFTV didn't like anything 10 or over, so just changed band in router settings manual @1 or 6 and no issues.

Bouncing around these forums it sounds like they locked down the firmware preventing the bootloader to be "unlockable" permanently for the s3 x522. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, was hoping to unlock it and root asap. keep me posted.

impster you're right about Lollipop it seemed to be quicksand after about 2 weeks of use, switching to f2fs did help. Good news is after ~3 months of Marshmallow I have not yet seen that slowdown-- just wifi purgatory after a few weeks for me & DevByte. DP let us know how we can help in the effort.
