    I had the same problem. The cause was a modified /system/apps folder. As a solution i copied the missing files from a FTF-File back. If for example facebook.apk is missing the update will fail.

    HDMI underscan Faux thanks for the great kernel. If i connect a display over mhl(hdmi) i get black borders(underscan) around the screen. The display is configured to display the screen 1:1. After many threads they blame HTC, not Tegra 3 for this problem but i think a good kernel can correct...

    The best RGB values are foreach 100%. I doesn't know what the best colortermperature for a Smartphone is but i think 6500K should be good.

    I use Opera on PC and One X, but flash in Opera seems broken on ICS.

    Chainfire3D from the Market should do the Job, but root is needed. I have a Colorimeter and on my HOX the color balance is also a bit off. Surprisingly on my beloved HD2 the color balance is perfect.

    I think with better 3G reception the consuption should be less than 2G. Maybe i can test with a better 3G reception and proof this. As described in the norm GSM needs more energy than UMTS.
