Post Advice Needed: Kindle Paperwhite or N7?

I've read lots of books on the Kindle Paperwhite, the Nexus 7 and the LG Nitro HD. All have strengths and weaknesses depending on the reading conditions. The Kindle Paperwhite is outstanding in the daytime both outside and inside. It can be jailbroken and alternate fonts can be added. I like...

Post [Q] Rooting to android for nook hd

For what it is worth, the nook hd already has Android ice cream sandwich installed. It is the home screen launcher and omission of certain Google apps that make it appear limited. I followed the instructions precisely using a rooted leaked ICS P930 and an Acer 10.1 Netbook (32 bit single core Intel Atom processor) running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. Worked like a charm! Then I tried out JellyBam (lame) and now ParanoidAndroid. ParanoidAndroid is simply great!

Post How many find the Nexus 7 almost perfect

I have a N7 16GB, purchased it at Fry's Electronics, unlocked it, rooted it and it works like a charm. No screen issues (lift or jitter). I use it to read books, news, surf, remote desktop, Skype, games, email, notes, travel planning for business, banking... My only complaint is that the...

    Post CM9 vs Official ICS

The ICS leak on my AT&T P930 runs like a charm. Google Chrome Beta is the best browser I've seen on a mobile phone.
