That lockscreen you are talking about is the app in your appdrawer. It has a yellow icon, dont remember the exact name, but it is a note 3 lockscreen app. Just open it and untick the enable box. That's it.

With the custom kernel in aroma, use the boeffla sound app from play store. There you can change the max volume for sound in microphone, speaker and headphones.

You're right, BUT i found out that actually, (for me at least) no custom kernel boots. I installed the rom clean with stock kernel, then tried devil kernel, and plasma kernel, but none of them boot...

First boot should always be stock kernel, otherwise there will "probably" be issues like bootloops. After the first successful boot you should have no problem flashing and booting another kernel.

no! don't do that unless you are looking for trouble. Just use titanium backup to backup your USER apps, then restore after clean install. painless procedure especially with the paid version.
