And in case you're experiencing connecting to networks with your Xplay 3S, please check out this patch...
Well, since I don't own a Xplay 3S (yet), I am not entirely sure. But I took the info from this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453. Maybe it helps you out ;)
I obtained custom recovery for the Xplay 3S. Anybody want to try it? Please contact me over PM.
Hey, you're Guenne from Meizu Me? Nice to see you here!
Why want a sub-forum on XDA when there's a whole forum dedicated to international Vivo users? :D I assume the chances are low that a Xplay 3S sub-forum will ever be added to XDA...
The Vivo Xplay 3S was launched early this month and now Vivo has released the first firmware firmware for it. It's Funtouch OS version 1.16.3. No instructions or changelog are included so I guess we have to figure it out for ourselves.
The 'Download' link offers a high speed download link from...
I was surprised I didn't find the APK of Instapad anywhere on the internet. So I extracted the APK from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and it worked on my Sony Xperia Tablet Z without any change. It should also work on other tablets with Android 2.2 Froyo or higher.
Install and enjoy ;)
I bought the Noreve leather case for the Tablet Z about a month ago, due to the lack of availability of the official Sony case. I did a small review of it on a Dutch forum before, and I will post the English version of it here (click on the pictures to enlarge):
I have ordered the Noreve Sony...
I looked into this a couple of months ago, and a simple APK copy does not work. You will need to port some Archos framework files too.
But that was a version directly coming from the Archos A101XS firmware, because I can't find the Play Store version anywhere. The Play Store version maybe works...
Thanks for sharing the link.
Maybe you can add Instagrid? This looks nicer on a tablet screen than the default Instagram app because it supports landscape.
I'm trying to make it a single recovery instead of dual recovery; I don't really see the purpose of having two different recoveries at one device... So what I'm trying to do is fully disable TWRP and make CWM bootable with both the volume up and down buttons. If TWRP gets fixed, I would like to...
[NUT] if I change the following:
#read default, for use with the boot flag file.
if [ -e ${DRPATH}/default -a "`cat ${DRPATH}/default`" = "twrp" ]; then
RECLOG="Booting TWRP by default..."
RECOVERY="/sbin/recovery.twrp.cpio.lzma"
else
RECLOG="Booting CWM by default..."...
[NUT] I wish I could, but I made a pre-order for the SGP312 (black non-LTE 32GB) on May 15 but there's still no stock of this tablet in the Netherlands...
If it's just the screen protector, what's the big deal? Buy a new one and replace or let it replace in a shop with the new one. But if it's a scratch on the digitizer itself, you can use display polish to minimize the scratch but not fully remove it. Or fully replace the digitizer but I'm afraid...
Noreve has a beautiful handmade leather case for the Xperia Tablet Z, it's quite expensive but it can be customised to your personal taste:

Aliexpress has some cheap ones, but fake leather of course...
Maybe a stupid question, but when rooting using the "Root many Android" script, should one choose Normal mode, Special mode or Mode 3 (Goroh_kun mode)?
Also will the "Easy rooting Toolkit for XPEIRA Z SO-02E" even work on a non-LTE Tablet Z because it requires a dialer?
I've pre-ordered the 32GB black version of the Xperia Tablet Z for €549 + the official Sony leather case in black, which was only €40 instead of €80 during the pre-order period. I'm really looking forward to receive it! (just hoping that the availability date of 22 May is correct...)
I contacted Microsoft USA over email, they did not give me the code because I'm Dutch. Then I called Microsoft NL (+31 (0)20-5001500) and the man on the phone gave me the code without any questions asked :))
