Who reported it? I don't have a problem, the device is fine. There is no problem at all with mic or speakers, clear and enough sound, i flashed dolby and it has best sound in headphones and in speaker.

You should flash the twrp image file from twrp itself then it will ask partition to flash - it will show boot partition and recovery partition, select recovery partition. Twrp will be flashed. After go to reboot option, then select reboot to recovery.

When we open backup option it there will be tick marks in partitions. I just backed up only the partitions ticked by default.

Select reboot to recovery from twrp, otherwise turn off and press power and volume keys.

Try this trouble shooting from titanium backup. If again it is not working go to the titanium backup folder and install all apk files backed up, then restore data only. Some times i do like this, i also have this problem sometimes.

Didn't you read the posts in this thread? Lot of people confirmed that twrp will not work with miui 8.1.15 and causes bootloop. Just read the posts in the thread before doing anything. Twrp works fine with miui 8.2 and i am on it.

How to update?? I am on stable 8.1.11 with twrp 3.1.0. Can i flash it from twrp? And what all other things? Already rooted. Do i have to flash su zip again? And gapps?

Mtp is working fine now in miui also. I am using chainfires su, root works fine. You need to enable build prop tweaks if mtp didn't work after flashing twrp 3.1.0.

For those who were in old version of twrp and flashed this latest one and still MTP is not working add the following in build.prop and restart. Works fine. (I was on twrp 3.0.3-0 and after flashing 3.1.0 also mtp was not working, added these tweaks and worked fine) persist.service.adb.enable=1...
