it is 1.12.111.18 at the moment the OTA to 1.57.111.2 is running some german forums wrote that any 1.12.xxx recovery will work for the ota. let's see if there is another ota after this one. edit: 1.57 went well, now ota to 1.70

you can update to 4.4.2 again after you have root and custom recovery :cowboy: downgrade -> root -> upgrade -> be happy

Hey there, i just switched from my HTC One to the LG G2. In my car (volkswagen) the HTC showed the Track Information (Artist, Trackname, Album....) on the Car Radio while playing on normal mp3s or spotify. Now on the g2 its just showing unknown. Thats not that big deal, but it would be nice...

Thanks, sure the Backup is the first thing to do after recovery is running (which is running at the moment, just making the backup :) )

applied the mod. did not help as well. I think theres really some sort of HW issue, because of all the different roms i used to use there was no changes. maybe there is some sort of mini speaker in there with a problem, or a amplifier problem :(

nope sorry, i did it, installed vroot, switched to normal superSU and installed busybox. But there is no RW access, so the ad blocking apps will work, but only to the next systemreboot / userswitch tried all of them, and tried to manually edit the host file, but without access it will not...

The problem is, that if you using vroot like i did, and you doing nothing else, you don't have read write access to /system. So adaway, adfree and whatever can't edit the hosts file. Therefore is my little mod to get it done manually :)
